Sprinkler systems are widely used to apply the right amount of water in the right place to contain or extinguish fires before they get out of control.
Will an automatic sprinkler system waste water?
Not all of the sprinklers go off at the same time. Our sprinkler heads are activated individually when they sense fire so that your system uses the right amount of water in the right place at the right time. Your water tank will use adequate water flow and pressure without wasting water.
Are smoke detectors enough protection?
While we highly recommend positioning smoke detectors throughout your property, they are only part of your fire protection plan. They are excellent warning signals but cannot help contain or extinguish fires. Sprinkler systems can contain fires, preventing loss of life and extensive property damage.
Do sprinklers go off at the first sign of smoke?
Sprinklers are activated by heat detected for a period of time. Simple mistakes like burning a snack in the toaster oven or fireplace smoke in the living room will not set off the sprinklers.
Who can test my fire sprinkler system?
We recommend having one of our professionals inspect and test your sprinkler system to make sure it can keep you and your property safe in case of a fire. Regular testing can ensure system integrity, reliability, optimal protection, and lower insurance rates.
